But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you.” … – 2 Corinthians 12:9.

This week one of our ministry contacts, Joanna Domingo, gave us a word that has been stuck in my head ever since.

“God gives us the grace we need for today. His grace is sufficient for today.”

She went on to explain that if we are within God’s will, He will continue to give us grace each day.

So, when I had concerns about leaving the Philippines, I was able to realize that God will give me as much grace as I need to be here. When it’s time to go, He will give me the grace to say my goodbyes here & move on to Malaysia. He will continue to do this throughout this year.

The end of our WR ministry in the Philippines has been PERFECT!

On Thursday night we were able to join a prayer, worship, and fellowship night that all of the PCF volunteers have once a month. It was incredible to join with roughly 50 AMAZING people & just bask in the Lord’s presence.

We were able to pray for the volunteers, the church, and the community here.

In turn, they prayed for us, our teams, and our ministry over the next 10 months.

As hard as it was to say goodbye, we know that we’ll see each other again – we are family now. 🙂

Friday we spent the day with Ron & Joanna. They took us to a volcano. That’s right. I climbed a volcano.

Tonight, they came back to the hostel with us for dinner & ice cream. 🙂 I’m so thankful for these few hours to just hang out before we parted ways.

It was just an amazing day of fellowship with them – to be blessed by them and the bless them.

Joanna & Ron

Tomorrow morning we will head back to “Uncle Jeff’s” [where launch week was held] for a couple days of rest before we fly to Malaysia early on Monday morning.
