If you have followed my blogs, you should know that our route was changed. We are no longer going to Tanzania – instead, we are heading to Rwanda in February and Uganda in March.

My heart may have hurt a little when I found out that Tanzania was removed. It was the one African country I was looking forward to. Why? Because my BFF Jill loves Tanzania.

When I heard our Kenyan ministry site was on the border of Tanzania, I was SO excited. I prayed that we would be able to step across the border.

On the day that we walked to the border, Pastor said it was okay for me to step on the other side so that I could say I had been to Tanzania – so I did. 🙂

THEN. To my surprise, Pastor planned a day in Tanzania! He and a pastor-friend from Tanzania arranged for us to cross the border and spend a day walking around one of the towns. Amazing. I absolutely loved it. We walked around for a few hours, ate a late lunch, and then headed back to Kenya.

That may have been my favorite day of the month mainly because it meant so much to me that Pastor went out of his way to give me a day in Tanzania. I felt extremely blessed by him.

My World Race so far? 6 countries in 5 months. 🙂
