Hello. how are you doing today? I have some wonderful exciting news to share with you! It has been on my heart for a while now to reach the lost and to build God's kingdom, to be productive. So just recently, I filled out an application to Advendures in Missions for The World Race! it's an eleven month trip to eleven different countries. I applied for the July 2013 trip that will travel to Honduras, Nicaragua, Costa Rica, Philippines, Thailand, Cambodia, India, Nepal, Kenya, Uganda and Rwanda. AIM has looked over my application and I have been excepted on this journey! On this trip we will get to minister to orphans, run VBS ministries, pray and minister to the sick in hospitals, and even build some houses for the homeless! each day we will have many opportunities to seek God and ask Him how He can use us in the time and place we are at in every moment of the trip. This is an opportunity to build God's kingdom and to become the hands and feet of Christ. Jesus said in Luke 10:2 "The harvest truly is great, but the labourers are few: pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he would send forth labourers into his harvest." The next question then is how will I know what to do when I get there? In May about a month before launch, we will have two weeks of training that will help us realize our spiritual gifts and how to use them in a practical way in the mission field. I'm looking forward to seeing how God is going to use this opportunity in my life and how this will propel the kingdom of God! my greatest desire is to be used by God for his kingdom and to be able to share the gospel and see lives changed. not only is this a great ministry opportunity, but is also a great opportunity for me to grow in Christ as well. There will be challenges, and difficulties and tribulations. but I wouldn't be so bold if I did not feel like God called has me for it. Psalms 121:7 says "The LORD keeps you from all harm and watches over your life." The Lord is my protecter and I have full trust in Him that no matter what happens; not only is it for His best, but it is also for my best. says "But the LORD is my defence; and my God is the rock of my refuge." – Psalms 94:22

Not only is this a great oppitunity for me to serve the Lord and to grow in Christ, But this is a great oppitunity for you to also be a part of! I would like to ask that you would pray for me while going through the process of preparation, and also when I'm on the mission trip from July 2013 – May 2014. I'm making a commitment to surrender an entire year of my youth to mission work! I can't hardly believe it myself! haha! still, I am excited with great antisipation that God is going to move in miraculous ways throughout the entire trip and I wouldn't miss a second of it! in addition to your prayers, I would also like to ask that if the Lord lays it on your heart, that you would make a monthly donation towards the trip. the total cost of the trip is 15,600 dollars. if 20 people contribute 78 dollars a month for 10 months, then that would satisfy the cost paid in full. But ask the Lord what He wants you to give.psalms 50:10 says "For every beast of the forest is mine, and the cattle upon a thousand hills." Everything that is rich and valuable belong to the Lord. "Both riches and honor come from You," – 1st Chronicles 29:12. Luke 6:38 says "Give, and you will receive. Your gift will return to you in full–pressed down, shaken together to make room for more, running over, and poured into your lap. The amount you give will determine the amount you get back."  This is Jesus speaking. it is a promise that what you give will be multiplied and given back to you. it may come as grace, peace, revelation, or even a financial blessing! Either way, God will bless you for your gift and will reward you with more than you could ever ask for!

God bless you and thank you very much for your love and support! Keep me in your prayers.

the Lord bless you and keep you; Samuel Millican
