Things I have done this month that I never thought I would do in the Philippines:
- Tried balut-a fertilized duck embryo that is boiled alive and eaten in the shell
- Learned to dive
- Jumped off a waterfall
- Bonded and really got to know my team
- Watched a missionary’s son play basketball in a huge college championship
- Ate dragon fruit
- Experienced typhoon weather
- Fit 18 people in a regular sized SUV
- Witnessed God perform a miracle on my computer
- Experienced the wonder and thrill of a night trike ride
- Build lifetime relationships with the JAZ teenage girls
Friends and family, I am heading to a closed country on Tuesday and will not be in touch for a month! Please do not post the name of that country if you know it. Love you all and talk to you in November! Feel free to comment and email while I am gone!
P.S My current financial support status is $13,000.54 with monthly pledges. I am only $1,799.46 away from the $14,800 that I need to raise!
