The Journey
The battles been won the dates been set He’s coming, He’s coming please don’t forget! Fear, anger, depression and stress some of the tactics the enemy uses to stress! The path is narrow the journeys up road but we’re not alone no we are at home! With Jesus in our hearts and the word in on our grasp, were like a soldier walking on a foot path! Sometimes with many, sometimes with few, but please don’t forget He’s coming for you and you and yes even me too! The love is to strong, sins not enough He’s coming, He is because nothing can separate us so bring Him here bring Him there! GOSH DANG IT bring Jesus everywhere, all because He changes the atmosphere! With gidgets and gadgets lights and more the journeys not boring no not anymore! The uphill seems down and the down hill seems up, heck sometimes the journeys a muck! Sometimes I veer to left or maybe the right sometimes the path gets far out of sight, I lose my arrow my spear I get weak challenged and fear, loneliness and depression kick in if I can only remember to run back to Him but it’s not enough no it’s not okay because the Lord died for me that day! So I’ll run and run ti’l I can’t anymore I’ll scream and cry till I’m back with my Lord! One thing I forget now can I say that Christ never left me, NO He waited that day! Were back a team my buddy and I all I remember my sins become dry! It’s not that it’s gone no not in my mind, no never how could I pass the time! Walking side by side and hand in hand my savior, my bible, my plan even though there not mine anymore life’s an adventure when you plan with the Lord so always remember, please don’t forget He loves you too no sin, hatred, anger, or pain could put you behind for he’s right there yes you are always on His mind! Your journeys been blessed, your paths been set a companion and company to what more could you need no there are no regrets! Pick up that pack and walk I guarantee you’ll never look back with rocks and cairns and the Lord to the side the adventures ahead its right in sight enjoy the journey and the cool breeze, learn to laugh and be at ease life is to short and the Lord’s love too strong He’s always there yes He’s been near all along!
