I leave for training in a week! For those of you who do not know what happens at trainging camp… I am with you I genuinely have no idea. That has not stopped me and my fellow squad mates from messaging each other multiple times a day about how excited we are for training camp.
Here is what I do know about training camp. Next Tuesday I will drive to Gainsville, Georgia and spend 10 days with 6 other squads preparing to leave the country and spread the gospel. While I am there, I will experience serious mental, physical, and spiritual training. I will be living out of a backpack, camping in the middle of nowhere, in humid Georgia weather, with people I have never met before. I was told that I would come home mentally and physically exhausted.
And I truly cannot wait to experience it! I’m so excited to learn from those who have been on the race, to grow in my faith and strength and experience something that I have never done. And for my squad mates, these people who are all around the US who I have never met, I cannot wait to meet you. I know that we are going to become like family and have relationships like no other.
For those of you at home who read this, I ask for prayer over me and my squad mates during training camp. Please pray for safe travels for all of us from and to training camp and also for us to come with a heart full to learn and grow during our time there.
