My team leaves Haiti a week from today. This month has been incredible. I had no idea what to expect this month, and even with no expectations God has shocked me with this country. I’ve not seen more indescribable sunsets ever in my life than what I’ve seen here. The sky seems vaster here. The most practiced religion in Haiti is voodoo, and I think its awesome that God paints His glory so definitely in the sky every day here. I have never been more aware of God’s glory from seeing His creation than what I’ve witnessed in the past twenty days.

Another thing about this month is God has revealed to me a deeper love that I have for people. The children here are so amazing, and they just want love so much. When we’ve gone out to villages and stopped by peoples’ houses, they always invite us into shaded areas and are thrilled to be around us. Their smiles, the wrinkles they’ve worked hard for, and their eyes show so much about them. We’ve done VBS for two weeks and it’s truly an unprecedented feeling to spend hours with children and literally not speak a word to each other the whole time, and feel like you know them inside and out.

This month we’ve done a lot of different things. We’ve visited villages, done VBS for kids of all ages, painted houses, sorted school supplies, and done construction. It’s been so great to have an all squad month. We’ve been so blessed this month and God has used it to bring us closer to Him and each other.

I, yet again, have no idea what to expect for next month. Please be praying for my squad!
