For those of you that don’t know, while I have a squad of more than 40 people, I will be spending ALL of my time with 6 teammates. I’ve already been so blessed by each one of them and I can’t wait to continue to grow our relationships.
So I figured I would give ya’ll the skinny on these awesome people!
I’m going to go from left to right in the picture, skipping myself.
Alexa is amazing. She loves Jesus and is definitely not afraid to be silly! She’s got a spunk that will cheer anyone up in a heartbeat and is very open to seeing where God is going to lead her and grow her this year. Also, she is from Charlotte, NC and her living so close to me in America makes me feel comforted 🙂
Rachel can look at me and with just one look say “You’re awesome, I understand where you’re coming from, I feel for you, don’t be dismayed.” It happened at training camp, really! She has been so open and vulnerable with our team and I just love her!
Paul is our TEAM LEADER! Woop woop! I hadn’t connected with him at all before training camp but felt very comforted by his presence very quickly after getting to know him. He’s one of the most encouraging people I know, a man of God, and is so incredibly humble. Our whole team is so stoked that we get to follow him!
Kelly is probably the most hardcore girl I’ve ever met. She and I are in a lot of ways, exact opposites…and I love it! She’s gone through so much and is so bold. We’ve already decided that God definitely put us on a team together for a reason. I can’t wait to see how God uses her to teach me in new ways 🙂
Lauren is the one who is just as southern as me and likes makeup just as much as I do 😉 We’re alike in many ways and for that reason I feel a strong connection with her. I can already tell she is a very strong person, and she’s also extremely sweet! I’ve already seen the heart she has for people and I can’t wait to see God push more of that through her on this trip!
Tim is the glue that holds this team together. We kinda all decided that at training camp. He is wise beyond his 21 years and brings an innocent yet very thoughtful perspective to our group. He’s our little peace keeper and I’m very thankful for him on our team!
So yeah, these are my people. <3
My heart is already so full of love for them and I am so ready to be reunited with them in just a little over a month!
