6 Facts About Me
1. I am a doctoral student, studying marriage and family therapy, and hoping to gain the title of Dr. in December 2019. (Update: I have now graduated! You can call me Dr. Wegner, lol.)
2. I am a licensed marriage and family therapist (LMFT) and I currently work as a substance abuse counselor. (Update: I am no longer working as I prepare for launch, but I spent 2 impactful years as a substance abuse counselor.)
3. I’m from the great state of Texas in the wonderful, dry desert. Living in Louisiana, I’m still not used to being around trees and water. They’re beautiful as can be, but sometimes you gotta miss being able to see as far as the eye can see and a west Texas sunset is indescribably beautiful.
4. I grew up as a Methodist and still proudly claim the title. I’ve considered my faith my own since I was 11 years old.
5. My favorite color is orange, but if you want to know way too much I’ll list my top 7 favorite colors any time you like.
6. I started taking karate classes last June and recently moved up my first belt level. Now I can proudly say I’m a yellow belt! Still definitely anything to do with coordination and kinesthetic ability is a huge weakness, but I’m working on it. (Update: I can now proudly say I’m an orange belt!)
