I have so many storries I want to share with you. So many pictures I'd love to post. But, alas, the internet does not work well in any of the places I've been in Africa.
I was able to post a few pictures in Siaya though. So I would advise you look at those few over and over until I can get you more. Just kidding. Be patient. I hope to post some more storries and pictures from Kenya
Team BLAZE said a sad farewell to Siaya on Saturday and now we are reunited with the whole squad in Uganda. We're chilling in Jinja at Adrift Adventures until tomorrow when we will separate to our new contacts for the month. My team has a 12 hour bus ride to our location. Weeeee! This is gonna be fun!
Meanwhile Adrift overlooks the Nile River so we thought we should take advantage of such an awesome opportunity. So some of us took out some personal money we brought with us and went white water rafting this morning. I'd never rafted before and it was a blast! I had so much fun! They have class 5 and 6 white waters here. Of course nobody does class 6. Nobody exept one boat of my squad mates accidently went over one! They all came out okay, thank God, and now they have a great story to tell.
As we were waiting for some of the other rafts to catch up to ours I saw a bald eagle land in a tall tree on the other side of the river. It just sat there and seemed to stare at us. I've never seen a bald eagle outside a zoo and I took it as a sign from God. Just like a little note to let me know I'm loved. He makes me smile.
It's so good to have this time to reconnect with the rest of the squad and rest up before heading out to do more ministry.
Thanks to everyone who has donated. I'm so grateful for God's work through you.
I just need to raise $5,500 before January. Please pray about supporting me.
