HAPPY THANKSGIVING FROM CAMBODIA!
I apologize for not sending any updates during my month here. I couldn’t find the words to describe what life has been like serving at this orphanage. So I decided to make a video! (A very poorly made one; I’m sorry for my poor video skills haha)
We said goodbye to the kids today. It was very, very hard. Even though I (and my entire team) couldn’t stop the tears, I couldn’t help but feel this huge wave of thankfulness. I wasn’t even supposed to be in Cambodia. What an honor it was to meet these loving, beautiful kids in this tiny, unknown part of the world. They taught me to be grateful for the stuff I own and the opportunities I have, to love selflessly and tirelessly, and to find joy in the little things.
So what’s next, you ask? SOUTH AFRICA! My team will be staying in Jefferey’s Bay. Any surfers, out there? It just so happens to be the surfing capital of the world! Also known as J-Bay. (If anyone has seen the movie Blue Crush 2…!) We will be arriving December 7th.
More details about South Africa and what ministry will look like to come! (Because I don’t know yet!)
Thank you all for the prayers and the support! Happy Thanksgiving!
Love, Sabrina
