Month 2 in Guatemala has been greater than I could have ever expected. Here is a summary of what God did this past month.

Missions

This month by the grace of God and with the help and support of others, I became an English teacher at Grace English school. I learned a lot about myself and God.

I also stopped by a local special needs orphanage. It was a great day of holding babies and serving in some practical ways.

Our squad had “Free Hugs and Bubbles in the Park”.
We hang out in Central Park,
Where we pray for people, give hugs and play with children in the name of Jesus!

I did a little ATL…
Ask The Lord. This is how we should live every part of our lives but there are those special moments where you just take a walk and ask the Lord what he wants. Listen closely. Sometimes he may lead you to someone who needs prayer, comfort, a hug, some company, healing etc. And sometimes God just wants a date with you.

Growing in community and building relationships. I lived with 24 people last month and it was beautiful. I learned a lot about myself and others. I also enjoyed forming friendships with my ministry host and students at the school.

Adventures

God allowed me to see and do so many incredible things this month.

I rested with Him in peace as I rode horseback up a volcano to roast marshmallows.

I experienced Antigua in many different ways, it’s a beautiful place. The lord is at work in that city.

I rode in the back of a truck up a mountain and jumped off! I got to paraglide through the mountains and above lake Atitlan. God showed me He makes dreams come true and that he has so much in store for me. God said “just wait, there’s more” He enjoys showing me the world. As I was literally soaring in the clouds I rested in Gods love.

I hiked up a volcano to be face to face with Fuego (an active volcano). It was a tough cold hike, but so worth it. I grew so much spiritually through that experience and got to see God in new ways.

Guatemala was full of so many adventures opportunities and blessings I loved last month so much. I learned a lot a grew a lot and God showed up countless times.

Next up, Honduras!
