Hello friends and family!
As most of you know, back in the spring of 2016, I was preparing for a 3 month mission trip to South Africa and Mozambique. At the time I had just surrendered to a life of ministry. I had been praying constantly for the Lord to reveal to me what he wants me to do in this life of ministry. After a lot of prayer, and bible study I began to feel a strong calling to serve as a missionary. About a month before leaving to Africa I woke up in the middle of the night with a strong feeling that I should apply for the World Race. I applied thinking “it never hurts to just apply”. I spent the next 3 months in Africa praying about the World Race and felt that the Lord was confirming this next step. I have never felt peace like this about such a big decision. In November 2016 I was accepted to the World Race where I will be serving in 11 countries for 11 months. I feel truly blessed and honored that God has called me to bring the Gospel to the world. I am going to need a lot of support spiritually and financially throughout this journey. I want to invite you all to be a part of this with me as I am having to make tremendous sacrifices in my life. Acts 20:24 says
“But my life is worth nothing to me unless I use it for finishing the work assigned me by the Lord Jesus—the work of telling others the Good News about the wonderful grace of God.”
This verse is close to my heart daily as it reminds me of why I am here on this earth. That is, to have a relationship with Jesus, and to step out in faith and obedience to bring the Gospel to a lost world.
My faith is being tested like never before, but I am letting go and leaving my life and this journey completely in the hands of the Lord. I am absolutely in love with Jesus and excited for the adventures ahead! Thank you all ahead of time for all of your prayers and support.
