This has been an interesting and eventful first week in the field! If any of you have been on the mission field you know that you MUST be flexible and open minded. I got a small taste of that in Africa last year. And another full dose this week!

This week I have learned to “write your schedule in pencil”. In my last blog I mentioned that we are empty vessels for the Lord. He gets to choose how he uses us. It’s up to us to be obedient. When you allow God to use you whatever way He chooses, you get to see more of God and how FUN He is. Here are a few things our father has asked my team and I to do this week…..

Teach English (to kids and adults)

Preach (to youth and adults)

lead worship

be in a street parade

lead a drama (skit) in church, twice!

participate in a dance! 2 different dances we performed about 4 times for the church

we got to visit a home and pray over a baby and have also prayed over numerous people in the community

today we will be preparing pupusas in the street and evangelizing

Because we allow God to use us, He has made us actors, dancers, teachers, Preachers, Prayer warriors, chefs, and the list will go on! We are flexible for the kingdom in Jesus name!
