What?! Last week I was in Ghana, Ethiopia and India. After a lot of traveling I finally made it to my month 7 destination.
I’m in Nepal!!!
This life I have is so insane! I gotta tell you, I’m so intensely in love with God and this world He has created. Seriously it’s beautiful! I got to see the snow capped Himalayas flying in. This morning I walked up to a Buddhist temple crawling with wild monkeys.
My best friend here so far, is a drug dealer, and this has been a very eventful week!
I just wanted to say that this has been a tough ride. It may look like a lot of fun but you only see the pictures. I post the pictures for you! We DO NOT have it easy……
I’m not going to go into detail about our lives out here but it’s tough sometimes. The spiritual realm is real whether you believe it or not, and I’ve experienced some pretty hardcore attacks. I’ve also experienced God in ways I could never explain. So what am I doing here in Nepal?
This month we have no agenda!!!!
We will be learning what life is like outside of the world race, where we don’t have our ministry handed to us. This month is on us, we have a choice! We can either
“monkey around”, or make ministry out of everyday life. I choose ministry!
After our week long debrief we will be kicked out to let the Holy Spirit guide us in every way. We have no place to stay, no schedule, nothing! It’s just us and God, and He is all we need. Please be praying for us.
Pray that we will have the discernment to know Gods voice in every moment.
Pray that we will create ministry every day, and that Gods presence will be known, wherever we are.
We are not just “monkeying around” here.
This place is beautiful, but we have a mission. We will be spending the month asking God what He wants from us daily.
We are walking by faith and obedience, and it’s not going to be easy.
My goal for this month is to look back and say,
“Wow! That was a hard month!, but I took so many risks and God showed how big He is!”
Please pray as my team and I step out into the unknown in every way, and bring Jesus to this lost world.
This is a heavily populated Buddhist and Hindu area of the world. Christian Missionaries aren’t exactly welcomed here. God has been doing some major things in me lately so don’t be surprised if I end up in jail…..ha! I’m kidding… but seriously, I’m not afraid to be bold for Jesus and whatever happens, happens.
(Don’t be scared Mom I’m not going to jail.)
Anyways, keep us in your prayers, this month especially. I’m begging you, pray.
Ps. I’m going to say this one last time, pray for us! And please join us, stop
“monkeying around” in the USA, and create ministry out of everyday life.
