I know it! I know the secret to life!
You know that big realization that everyone strives for, but they never really find?
It’s been here since the beginning, and I’m ready to share it with you. So here it is, the secret to a life of constant joy.
Be loved.
Yeah! Two words! Haha!
That’s it, be loved.
Seriously, let me explain.
Last week, I had the blessing of being able to take part in an awakening. An awakening is when multiple World Race squads in the same region join together for a few days. We worship, break bread and pour into each other as brothers and sisters in Christ. We also had an incredible speaker who has a major passion for discipleship and loves investing in our generation.
God taught me some life changing things at this conference style get together. Not only did I get to grow in areas where I am weak, but I gained some perspective on living life.
That’s what I want to share with you in this blog. The big secret to life is to simply, be loved.
John 3:16
“For this is how God loved the world: He gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life.”
Truth is, that the God of the universe who created everything, LOVES YOU! Whether you love Him back or not, He LOVES YOU!
Do you live your life knowing you have a perfect father who loves you?
Let that sink in…
Now, because He loves us, He gives us gifts and He gives us choices. If you choose to accept the gifts, your life will never be the same.
The gift of the Holy Spirit.
John 14:26
“But when the Father sends the Advocate as my representative—that is, the Holy Spirit—he will teach you everything and will remind you of everything I have told you.”
If you have made the choice to accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and savior, then you have the free gift of the Holy Spirit. Which means God Himself is literally manifesting Himself inside of you!
Do you know what that means?!
It means nothing is impossible!
NOTHING!
I’m getting fired up as I write this because it’s so freaking unbelievable, yet absolutely true, and overwhelmingly incredible!
Do you want it?!
Do you want to be fully known and fully loved by a perfect all powerful father?
A father who is willing to give you His all powerful Spirit?
A father who will always and forever LOVE YOU, unconditionally?!
A father who wants more than anything to have an intimate relationship with you?
Ok, here is another secret….
If you want it, take it!
It’s your choice!
Do you want to live your ordinary life, always wondering if God loves you, always wondering if you’re doing enough?
Do you want to be trapped in what society expects you to do?
I don’t think so!
I’ll say it again, it’s your choice!
The Bible says, we are Gods children!
We are enough!
We are loved!
We have worth!
And we have purpose!
In Jesus.
So let go of all the lies, and take hold of the truth.
Let go of all the excuses.
Let go of everything you are holding onto.
And make the choice to simply, be loved.
Live your life knowing that God loves you.
If you have accepted Jesus you have the gift of the Holy Spirit. Most of the things you’re asking for, you already have it…..
So take it.
Don’t wait for it anymore.
Just say thank you Jesus, and take it.
Galatians 5:22-25
“But the Holy Spirit produces this kind of fruit in our lives: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. There is no law against these things! Those who belong to Christ Jesus have nailed the passions and desires of their sinful nature to his cross and crucified them there. Since we are living by the Spirit, let us follow the Spirit’s leading in every part of our lives.”
Everything listed in the above verse is already there, you don’t have to ask or wait for it. Just take it.
Accept what He has for you, and be loved.
I want whoever reads this to do something for Jesus right now. I want you to just sit in silence and ask God to awaken things inside of you. Ask God to awaken truth to you. Tell Him what you want. Tell Him that your life is now His, your dreams are now His. Tell Him to set you free. Just take a few minutes and do this for Jesus.
