This has been a crazy week! There is a lot of change happening.

New culture
New languages
New continent
And new team!

It all started at 3am in Nicaragua. We all packed in a van like sardines and drove an hour to the airport.

We had a few hours to search for coffee and breakfast. Then we were Miami bound!

It was such a weird feeling being back in the great U.S of A., I’d have to say it was bittersweet. I had about 5 hours to check my bags and enjoy my limited options of American food. (Dunkin Donuts and Pizza Hut)

After a crazy long process of trying to get 25 missionaries to our destination we were off to Portugal!

(2 were left behind but they are back with us now!)

I enjoyed my 8 hour plane ride. With very minimal sleep, I was determined to make the best of this 17 hour layover in Portugal.

I didn’t pack for Europe in December, so I froze as we explored the beautiful city of Lisbon. I used a free airplane blanket as a scarf. This place was beautiful, and a bit of a culture shock after being in Central America for 4 months. After about 12 hours of unspeakable amounts of coffee and delirious laughter we left for Africa!

5 hours later….. we made it!

We are now all safely in Côte d’Ivoire which is in west Africa. I’ve felt like a zombie the past few days but I’m getting back to normal. I’m exhausted but our first few days of ministry have been absolutely amazing!
I will share more soon!
WiFi is scarce here.

Ps. All this travel and change has my brain in a jumble. I made the mistake of not spending much time with the Lord as we traveled. Please keep me in your prayers as I get filled back up and serve this amazing ministry here in Côte d’Ivoire! There are Muslims everywhere so be praying that soon and very soon they will know who the 1 true God is!
