Hey there!
Thanks for visiting my World Race blog! You might be wondering what the World Race is. Some of you may be thinking that it’s probably similar to the TV show ‘The Amazing Race’ — this is not the case. The World Race is an 11 month journey where myself and 40-50 others will travel around the globe to 11 different countries as missionaries sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ! We will spend one month in each of these countries: Philippines, Thailand, Malaysia, South Africa, Lesotho, Swaziland, Nicaragua, Costa Rica, Panama, Columbia, and Ecuador. Each of these countries have thriving points and also have points where they need the redeeming power of the kingdom of God. We, as ministers of the gospel of Jesus Christ, intend to carry the kingdom of God to each of these countries and meet their unique needs! To see the needs of each country in detail, click here.
The World Race is organized by an organization called Adventures in Missions. Adventures in Missions is a Christian ministry that sends thousands of people on mission trips every year. Over the past 25 years, Adventures has taken over 110,000 people on mission trips around the world. With a focus on prayer and discipleship, Adventures goal is to see lives radically transformed by God.
My reason for going on the World Race is simple: I am being obedient. A friend who is very near to my heart went on the World Race a few years back. She didn’t know it, but when she was sharing a bit about her experience, she planted a seed in me. Ever since, I have desired to GO to all the nations and share the good news. To be honest, I did not know that my time to go would come so soon, but that’s what makes following God such a fun adventure! And when God says “go”, you drop everything and go. Period. So that’s what I’m doing. I’m going. And I’m pumped about it!
My desire in life is to see God’s kingdom manifest on earth as it is in heaven. This was Jesus’ desire and the lifestyle that He lived. As a follower of Him, I believe it should be mine as well. Through prayer, fasting, preaching, teaching, and serving, I will be contending for truth, sonship, healing, faith, purity, holiness, hope, peace, prosperity, and salvation everywhere I go! I am convinced that wherever we go, the devil doesn’t stand a chance because of Christ in us! God’s will WILL be done ON EARTH AS IT IS IN HEAVEN!
There are some of you who are reading this that have that same desire in your heart to see the advancement of the kingdom of God on earth. I want to encourage you that just because you cannot go to these countries yourself DOES NOT mean that you cannot partake in the advancement of the kingdom via this journey.
You can be a major player on this journey through prayer! Without a doubt, we will need prayer!!! If there is one thing I know for sure, it is that I can do nothing of my own strength. I am only as strong as my prayer life and the prayer life of those interceding for me, so please, please pray. Pray that I would have boldness to proclaim the truth, as I should, and that God’s power would be with me and others as we minister. Also you can be a major player on this journey through financial donations! Without a doubt, I will need financial support! The way I see it, every dollar is an opportunity to crush hell if we use it properly. Let’s crush hell and bring heaven! If you cannot go on this journey physically, don’t count yourself out on being able to sow into what God wants to do. I encourage you and ask you to sow into it financially and prayerfully! You will reap reward in your soul and in heaven!
I promise you this: God WILL do the miraculous on this journey! He is going to impact thousands of people’s whole person: spirit, soul, and body. So get excited! I know I am!
