Hey y’all!

I hope this blog post finds you doing well! I am reaching out to give you a quick update on what God has been doing on the World Race and to share some exciting news about an opportunity I have accepted for after the Race is over.

It is now month ten of the World Race, and God has been doing amazing things thus far! If you have been following the updates on my blog and my posts on social media, you have seen what He’s been doing. In case you haven’t though, let me tell you… What God has been doing is nothing short of amazing. My team and I have seen countless times that God has miraculously healed the sick! Just in the past two weeks, I personally have seen a minimum of 10-15 miraculous healings on the spot! Lots of tears involved as a result of God’s love and compassion toward His people. Glory to God! Additionally, we have seen numerous souls saved. One month in Lesotho, among the entire squad, we saw over 100 souls brought into the kingdom of God! Yay God!!! These are just two examples of tangible fruit that we have seen. Beyond that, God has done so much more and has sown so many seeds of love into the people around us that will give birth to the kingdom of God in due season. Words cannot express how thankful I am for your partnership in prayer and financial backing. YOU are the reason that I am here, and I fully believe that your name is directly attached to each and every person that has been sown into for the sake of Jesus Christ and His kingdom!

This leads me into what God is leading me to next! During my time in South Africa, I was able to share a corporate word on God’s heart for evangelism and what it’s all about — LOVE. During this message, a man named Rich Franzen, the owner of an organization called Impact Africa, was moved and approached me asking me if I would be willing to come back to South Africa after the Race and invest some time into the evangelism department of his ministry. After much prayer and fasting, I received a clear word from God that I am supposed to go back! With that said, I return to the U.S. on August 29th, and I am flying back to South Africa on September 16th to spend 2 months there! During this time, I will be getting a feel for the ministry and they will be getting a feel for me as to whether or not it is a good fit for me to help them long term with their evangelism efforts. Their evangelism efforts primarily consist of outreach in local schools to the students and going into “squatter camps” to reach the witch doctors there with love combatting the spiritual forces of darkness that are present. In their school outreach, they have amazing success! The school actually allows them to lead a class on Christianity as well as host meetings in auditoriums where they present the gospel. In their time doing this, they have seen roughly two thirds of the students commit their lives to Christ! That is insane! Two thirds of the students equates to thousands of youth getting saved! Additionally, in their time reaching out to the witch doctors, they have seen numerous people delivered from demons and step into the freedom that is in Christ! I am so excited to partner with them in their efforts in whatever capacity I can.

With that said, I am looking for further partnership in the form of prayer and finances. As we all know, nothing happens in the kingdom without prayer. That is the ONLY WAY we see fruit come out of our seed sowing efforts — one sows, one waters, but God brings the increase. So, I would greatly appreciate continued prayer as I step into this next season that God is calling me to! I also would like to extend an ask for further financial support. Impact Africa is being gracious enough to support me financially in getting me to and from Africa as well as providing housing and some food for me during my stay there. What I am needing additional financial support for is standard necessities such as hygiene products, as well as food and water beyond what is being provided. I also need financial support for other miscellaneous expenses such as my phone bill, medical insurance, spending money for activities that I will be doing with the interns there that I will have the opportunity to mentor and invest in, and other bills that I am currently paying on back in the United States such as my student loans. I am looking to raise $2,500 for this period of time.

I have a long-term plan for creating a sustainable source of income to support myself as a full-time missionary in the form of online personal training and a full-package training program that I will eventually present to pastors of churches as something they can offer to their congregation. This, however, is in the beginning stages of being built. My hope is that, if I return to South Africa for a third time after the holidays, I will have a program and systems in place to be able to support myself as a long-term missionary, while also being able to make an impact on the physical health of people all throughout the United States from wherever I am in the world.

So, I am looking for some people that would like to continue to partner with me financially in whatever capacity you can as we continue to expand the kingdom of God, this time being through Impact Africa! I will post a link to Impact Africa’s website at the bottom of this email so that you can look into the ministry further and see what else they are doing to advance the kingdom of God. They have many arms to their ministry beyond evangelism, and I believe this is a great opportunity to help them in what they are already doing!

If you pray and feel led to partner with me financially, you can do so through any of these avenues:

  • Paypal: https://www.paypal.me/RyansKIFund
  • Venmo: @Ryan-OKeefe-13
  • Personal Check: Make checks payable to Ryan O’Keefe and mail them to 2505 Pawnee Crossing, Edmond, OK 73034.
  • Cash: Send to the same address listed above.

For personal checks, the address listed above belongs to my parents, who have full power of attorney, and can deposit them directly into my account. These donations are being made to me personally, so they are not tax-deductible. If the tax deduction plays a key role in your partnership, I’d be happy to reach out to Impact Africa and see if you can donate straight to them and they can give me the money so that you can receive a tax deduction — just shoot me an email at [email protected] and let me know.

I’d love to hop on the phone with you sometime and talk further about everything God has done and answer any questions you have about this next season at Impact Africa! Let me know if you would like to do this and we will schedule a time to make it happen! And again, thank you, thank you, thank you! None of what God has done in me and through me would be possible without your prayers and financial partnership. My life has been changed forever along with many others. From the bottom of my heart, I truly appreciate it! Please let me know if there is anything I can partner with you in believing God for. He is faithful and loves to answer the prayers of His saints! I love you very much!
