Hey y’all!
My name is Ryan O’Keefe, and I’m so thankful to share my upcoming journey with you through blogging!
I come from a family of six in Edmond, OK. I have two amazing parents, Tom and Stephanie; one older sister, Heather; one younger sister, Jennifer; and one younger brother, Joshua aka J-Money. I could not ask for a family that would love me and appreciate who I am more than these people.
My life has been a full one thus far at the young age of 26. Perhaps the best way to summarize my life is to say that I’m the prodigal son. While growing up in a Christian home with truth being poured into me through many different streams, I still managed to find a way to believe that life without Jesus was better than with Him. After many years of searching for fulfillment in athletic, academic, and career success, as well as in drugs, my heavenly Father in His amazing mercy drew me to Himself and welcomed me home.
While it may be tempting to think I wasted so many years on pointless, temporary agendas of my own, since God saved me at 23, I have been eager to redeem the time. I am absolutely obsessed with and possessed by Christ. I want to know Him! I’m so excited about continuing to see what is possible through a life lived in surrender to God’s will. Who knew Christianity could be so exciting!
I certainly will share more details of my testimony, my call, and my passions in later blog and vlog posts. For now though, I don’t want to bore you. So thank you for taking a trip over to my blog. Know that God loves you so much and that you are SO worth the blood of Jesus! God thinks more thoughts about you than the grains of sand on the earth, and every one of those thoughts is for your welfare. He knows all your righteous acts and unrighteous ones and still thinks you are absolutely amazing! I love you very much, as does He. Blessings on you as you’re reading this today! Talk to you soon!
