The process of preparing to go on a 9 month missionary trip has been interesting… This has been a different experience for me planning so much, and figuring out how to fundraise so much money.  It has been challenging because, being honest, I don’t want to do anything and slack off.  I have been overcoming this by telling myself, “It’s not about me.”  I have had the urge to give up (I feel like I have made a lot of mistakes, doubting myself, doubting lately…)  I think it is warfare, I need your prayers.    I am in my senior year, and it has been hard keeping up with school and plan for this trip.  But I have not given up because this trip is something I need in my life right now.  In this process, the Lord has taught me about endurance, and running the race to win it.  He has taught me not to give up when things get hard.  He is teaching me how He is my provider.   It has also been FUN!  Halleluiah!

I have raised almost $2,800 so far.  I have to raise at least $6,000 by May 22.

I am working on speaking at a few churches (West Winds on April 26th).

I have planned a fundraising event at The Hub Friday May 1st from 7-9 p.m.  My dance crew (J Crew) will be preforming.  $10 at the door (includes pizza and drinks).  All proceeds will go to my trip.
