Goodness gracious it’s been a minute since I’ve updated you guys.. i’m slacking a lil bit per usual lol. Anyways hiiiii!!! I hope you‘re all doing good:) I bet you’re wondering why I’m not gone on my trip yet.. I would’ve originally left June 30th, but I’m still here.. Corona has really caused a change of plans for just about everyone. For World Race, it caused all Summer and Fall overseas trips to be cancelled. Buttttttttt being as wonderful as they are, World race semesters provided us with the opportunity to go on a domestic trip here in the US!!! Me being a 7 on the enneagram I was like ‘HECK YES!’ Welcoming adventure with open arms!! So here I am telling you that I’m going to Wisconsin Dells for 3 months, Lord willing:) I’ll be serving some people stuck here in the US from the 10/40 window and distribute food to families in need because Corona.. I leave August 28th and come back November 22nd. At first the thought of being gone for 3 months scared me, and it still does a lil bit because homesickness is a real thing, but I sat back and realized if I just stay here where I’m comfortable I wouldn’t grow like I would if branched out and experienced new things on my own. And also I came across this quote: “be careful how you make sense of your life. What looks like a disaster may, in fact, be grace. What looks hopeless may be God’s instrument to give you real and lasting hope. Your Father is committed to taking what seems so bad and turning it into something that is very, very good.” And that was kinda an eye opener.. Like going to Wisconsin was not how I thought I would be spending my Fall, and it’s been a little chaotic trying to figure everything out.. But I have a very strong feeling that this is what I’m supposed to do, this is where I’m supposed to be. I hope God takes this disaster pandemic and all the changes it’s caused and turn it into something very very good:) So yeah.. there’s my lil update! If you could pray for me I would love that! And if you feel led to donate to my trip I have about $600 more to fundraise:) Thank you for reading all the way through, I love you! -ryan
