I have now been on the world race for about 8 months. I am on my 9th country in India and we have been seeing some amazing works of God happen. Last month God started speaking to Clint and I about the supernatural happening in India. Everything I had heard about India would lead me to think I would not like the country but God kept giving me a peace and excitement about going to India.
Since we have been in India we have been going all over the place visiting homes in villages. At first I was getting really bored with the ministry. Let me explain why. We are going to places like Indian weddings, naming ceremonies for babies, homes to pray for kids entering their teenage phases and much more. When we get to the places we will spend around 4 to 5 hours there. About 90% of that time we are waiting on what is going to happen. We show up and get offered chairs to sit in. Then we wait and wait and wait and do a little more waiting. Then we all get up to sing one song. After the song is done one person gets about a 10 minute spot to share a testimony. After that is done we wait around a little longer while we listen to a language we cannot understand then we leave. It really has not been exciting.
However, today, May 3, 2011, all of that changed. We started off the morning by evangelizing door to door. The first house we came to had a guy that has been paralyzed for 4 years. Both of his legs were swollen, he could not move his right arm, and he had problems with his speech because the right side of his face was paralyzed. When we found all of this out we started praying for the guy to be healed. After a while of praying we asked the guy if there was anything different. He said he felt something different in his speach but he still could not move his arm…..
