On my Facebook post of my last blog I said that I will shave a design on my head and you guys get to choose that deign. I will be taking all the comments on this blog, my Facebook post, and my Instagram post into account. January 31 is the deadline for all options and ill be choosing the final design on February 1.
Since we’ve gotten to Guatemala, we have been living on the brand new adventures base and my team’s ministry is teaching English to the best little kids. They range in age from four years old all the way up to our “most experienced” student (A nice way of saying that this Grandma isn’t old). They’re all eager to learn and love to laugh when we try our broken Spanish on them trying to explain the next worksheet. My favorite are the little nuggies. That’s right, the youngins. These tiny little children show so much love to us as we teach them the alphabet, numbers, colors, and the more than occasional game. Which are my favorite part of class too. Interacting with these children takes me back to my young days of not having a care in the world.
Mom don’t you miss those days?
God has been moving big time in my life recently. Mostly by showing me that I need to put my trust in Him so that I can succeed. And that’s exactly what I did and put my funding in His hands.
He is also teaching me to be more generous, with the gifts He has given me, with the people who put their trust in me.
And last of all He is showing me how BLESSED I am and all of the things that He gives me everyday.
To the real ones back home, I miss ya big time and we’ll be hittin the stoga when I’m back.
To Sean, I’m proud of you for almost being done with school and moving on with the rest of your life.
To the family, thank you for being role models that have grown me into the young man I am today.
To mom and dad, I’ll see you soon. I can’t wait for you to ride the busses here.
