Today I bought a laptop for the race from avey nice man. I made the trek to harrisburg and got to talking and boom, we made a connection. He asked me why I wanted the computer and I started telling him about the race and he wanted to know more. One thing led to another and he donated to my fund and said he’d reach out to his community and encourage them to donate.
HOW AWESOME IS THAT?
I had no idea that today I’d wake up and make a new friend in the midst of all my current ones leaving for school. After that I felt so good that I gave a few dollars to a man on the side of the road.
It’s crazy how much one simple interaction can start a chain reaction that can touch so many people with a simple “God bless you”
