Welcome to my World Race blog!

On September 5th, 2012, I departed on an adventure of a lifetime: serving people in 11 countries over 11 months with 6 others all while living out of a tent and a backpack.

When I heard of The World Race for the first time, my heart pounded and I could hardly contain my excitement as I tore up the surf across their website. This trip focuses on raising up servant-leaders to be the change in the world. Through ministry, community, adventure, and self-discovery, our hearts will be broken and our hands propelled to act for the Kingdom of God around the globe.

We will serve in partnership with churches and ministries in local communities to preach the Gospel, plant churches, give hope and love to orphans, minister to women and children who are trapped in prostitution as a result of human trafficking, and bring the restoration and hope of the Father’s love to many tribes and nations. I know this sounds quite vague but our service will be extremely broad as we serve in whatever capacity the local Christians need us to in order to support their ongoing ministries.

I am honored and excited to serve the least, the last, and the lost on four continents! I know God will teach me exceedingly great things through His presence and His people around the world!

I would love for you to join with me in this opportunity! I will keep you updated about by trip by posting updates on this blog, and you can receive email alerts by subscribing. My blogs will contain info about each country, methods of service, thoughts and reflection, and other fun along the way.

I want to know what’s going on with you and what you think about my World Race! Please share your thoughts with me by commenting on my blog or contacting me, even if you don’t know me!

Thanks for checking out my blog and may God bless what He’s doing in and through you!
