Since the first day I’ve gotten to Cambodia, I’ve loved it here. Living in a home without AC, sleeping on the floor, and hand washing our clothes has taken some getting used to, but I actually love it (aside from not having AC). The first night we actually got to Ezra, an english learning center and home to an Aussie family, where we are living for these two months, we were met by about 20 or 30 kids who were learning english there. We played soccer, put them on our shoulders, chased them around, and sweat through all our clothes. It was awesome. My ministry for these two months is at New Hope School. Where I’ll be teaching English and vocational skills to 12 year old kids. But due to the holiday happening here this week, I don’t get to start that ministry for another few days. But until then, myself and a couple others on my team have been working on clearing out a field of rocks, glass, trees, and garbage so the kids at Ezra can have a safe place to play soccer and frisbee. On my off days when I don’t have any ministry, I’ve gone to a couple nearby Cambodian hangouts and played pool and ping pong with the locals. The people of this country are beautiful.

This is Panha, he’s one of the awesome kids I get to spend time with at Ezra.
