Introducing team “SevenStrong.”
Have you ever wondered what God’s plan is for the poor orphan in Botswana? The teenage girl trapped in the sex trafficking industry in Thailand? The homeless man trying to provide for his family in El Salvador? The teenage boys caught in violence and drug addiction in South Africa?
Well, you are looking at it. We are one of about 35 teams launching in January (and one of about 150 teams currently spread across the world) who have chosen to leave our jobs and everything we have here to make the Hope we have found in Jesus available to them. Although we may not be able to change their physical conditions, we can share the Love of Jesus with them, and that Hope alone has the power to eternally shift the world.
I myself was at a place in life 6 years ago with no hope, no purpose for living, and the worst circumstances you could ever imagine. The only thing that kept me alive and got me to where I am today was this Hope of the Living God. He completely shifted the course of my life and He is the air I breathe in each day. I thought I was as far from His Grace as you could ever get, but He proved that there isn’t a soul on Earth that He can’t do a miracle in.
It is time we lay down our life so that others can find theirs
