There was a wildfire last night maybe half a mile from Alabanza (where we are staying for debrief).
It was pretty big. A bunch of us WR’s went on over and helped some locals bat it out with branches and shovels. i kinda stayed back and assumed the role of putting out the little spots so they wouldn’t become big again and start blazing in the other direction.
