They’re crazy about their king here. There’s billboards and such of him everywhere….
On the 4th or 5th of August, we all took a tour of a few of the Buddhist temples in Bangkok.
Here are some pictures of that very day.

this reclining Buddha…was easily 100 feet long I’d say and probably 20-40 feet tall
people got change, then dropped one coin into each of these pots as some kind of offering
worshipping the little Buddha statues…

At the top of one of the temples, there was this yellow sheet wrapped around the whole thing. People had written various things on it, and I assumed what people wrote had to do with Buddha.
So I decided to add my two cents worth.
