Alissa, Erin (both WR participants) and I (Hanna, AIM Staff/World Race Launch Team) picked Ryan up from the airport the other day. He seemed worn out from his long travels and was still recovering from the flu. However, his spirits seemed to raise instantly when the rest of his team welcomed him into our Mexico base a few minutes later with loud shouts and cheers, high-fives and hugs. We’ve been praying for his recovery and were so excited to welcome him to Matamoros!
