I am back in blog world. I apologize for my 15 day absence. I purposely left my computer here in Chiang Mai so I wouldn’t have to carry it around for 2 weeks from village to village, and part of me is glad that I left it here…but another part of me really wishes I would have brought it along, because I have over 600 pictures to edit through and upload.

For the last 2 weeks, we have continued to travel from village to village in northern Thailand with Ray Ward, and Pastor Panya, his wife Rapee, and their nephew Hebrew.

After we left Ban-On (which I blogged on two weeks ago) we stayed in Chiang Mai for a day, then went to Mae La Noi and stayed with Rapee’s brother, Welapong.

While we were there we did two school gospel presentations, and saw and prayed at a building that isn’t used, but that Welapong envisions using for somekind of christian training center.

the students at the first school…

singing praise songs for Jesus on a stage that also has a buddhist shrine thing on it…

stephanie in a sea of thai school kids

playing a game I learned at Young Life camps, called ‘Peeling the Onion’

Welapong addressing the students at the second school…

Annie giving a testimony at the second school. (she overcame her fear of public speaking in front of thousands of kids in the two school presentations we did…Good job annie!)

Another big thing we did while at Welapong’s in Mae La Noi, was to go visit and pray over a big building right down the street from his house. The government built it three years ago for town meetings and such. No one has used it since.

this is the building (in the background) and the surrounding grounds…

the inside of the building…that is not being used…at all

praying for the building and for Welapong’s vision to see it used for God’s glory

our group in front of the building…

a lovely random picture of scott, with some leftover dragonfruit for later

One night while at Welapong’s, we went to a church service.

a woman on the floor having somekind of God encounter…

Tana, Rapee and Linnea praying for a woman’s leg to be healed…

those same two women laughing, crying, praising and sharing the moments they just had with Jesus

in northern thailand one must watch out for random elephants in the middle of the road. Hebrew surprised these two and almost caused an unpleasant situation.

mmm mmm good! Hot Chili Squid Lay’s!

More pictures and blogs from the last 2 weeks will be on their way in the following days, so keep an eye out! Featuring our couple of hours in Burma. Let me know what you think of all these!
