One of our main ministries while we’re here in Lima is helping to plant a church up in an area called

Lomo de Corvina.
The group has been up there 4 times now (only twice for me though because I’ve been sick) and just met people and played with kids…just establishing some relationships. We’ve done a couple little kids services and we are going to begin to physically build their church building pretty soon.

The first day we were up there, Amalia (one of our translators) and I we able to pray for two ladies to accept Christ. It was great…I wanted to be more excited about it though. But we went back there to visit them the other day, (Talia came with us this time) and one of the ladies, Zoila, was there and we got to just chat with her for a while, and are going to go back and do that a few mornings a week. The other lady that prayed to receive Christ was Yesenia, so please say at least one pray for both of them as new believers.

We must hike up a pretty long hill to get up to Lomo, and so this picture is actually from the hike up.

Playing a game with the kids with a great background of the city.

We pretty much filled the bus on our way back to the church.
