For some reason instead of flying directly from Buenos Aires to Johannesburg, somehow it was arranged to fly via London. I don’t know how that worked out but it did…and we had like 6 hours to spend in London.
I found out that I had a childhood friend that is in London doing a semester abroad for college, and emailed him and was able to hook up with him in London. He took us on a great walking tour on some of the sights and to a traditional English pub, that was great. It was great to see him and see the city. Thanks for giving up a chunk of your day to show us around thomas!
Here’s a few pictures of our second of three continents in like a 48 hour period:

For some strange reason, British Airways only allows one checked bag for international flights. Even though little airlines like Taca allow two even within Peru I think. Anyway, that regulation forced Joy to have to get rid of her beloved pink duffle bag.

STAY TUNED ….. for shots of South Africa sometime, and Mozambique when we actually get there.
