I saw this video today and it made me think a lot about what matters the most to me in this life. I have been thinking a lot about life lately. A lot about who I am and where my life is going. A lot about my family and life circumstances and most of all I have been thinking and learning a lot about my true Heavenly Father and His love for me as His son.
I have been reflecting and going deep with struggles that I have battled with my entire life. I have been thinking a lot about why I struggle with things that I struggle with and who I have been blaming for past circumstances and struggles that I have had in my life. I have concluded, decided, and come to believe that I am convinced that I cannot live this life without God. I will not make it without him and I wouldn’t want to imagine even trying. I wouldn’t even want to think what life would be like without him. I am convinced that He will not just change the struggles that I face in life by me sitting here and doing nothing about them, but I do believe that He will change the struggles with me by my side. I am even more convinced that I cannot change or do anything by myself (John 15:5). I need his life (His Spirit), his guidance, and his love to survive… to endure, to change, to grow, and to be molded, ignited, and inspired into the true man that He created me to be.
This video inspires me, it makes me think about my life and the person that I have become. It makes me think of what true success is. It makes me think about that day when my life is over and i’m in front of my Lord Christ Jesus. It causes me to ask myself if the life that I have lived has truly reflected his character and love to people. It makes me think about if the life that I have lived will really have mattered and made a difference in people’s lives?
Will I have lived this life selfishly for myself, or will I have lived this life for a greater reason and a greater cause? Will I have lived this life being the son that my Heavenly Father created me to be where I lived for His Kingdom, His Love, and His Glory?
Who are you, who have you been created to be, and who and what are you truly living for?
I am convinced that money will not make me or us happy. I also believe that money will not even bring us close to what true success really is. Someone once told me that if I do not define success for myself, then the world will define it for me in a way that I don’t want it to. I then will be unconsciously living a life that is defined by someone else’s definition of success.
You might ask, “Well Ryan what is your definition of success?” Honestly, i’m still discovering it by the more that I discover who my Father is. The more I discover who my Father is, the more I discover who I am, the more who I discover who I am, the more I discover what my true purpose is….
Here’s what I have so far:
True Success is to intimately and truly know my heavenly Father, my creator who have blessed me, chosen me, and given me the gift of living this life. True success is to live my life with courageous faith and passionate love for my Lord, Christ Jesus. It is to live my life in oneness with God’s Holy Spirit that lives inside me with my whole heart in full surrender, obedience, and trust. True success is to love God with all of my heart, soul, mind, and strength. It is then to also love all others with the same love that God has freely loved me with (Luke 10:26-27). True success is to live a life that has reflected my Savior’s love and life alive within my heart and life. Finally, true success for me is to live a life that matters for His Kingdom, His Love, and His Glory –
to live a life that is truly faithful to him, all the way until the end, no matter what.
This picture sums up what I hope my life can look like and reflect…this picture sums up what true success is for me
The Story of HOPE!
“No one has ever seen God. But when we love one another, God lives in us and the full expression of his love is made complete in us.” – 1 John 4:12
“But because of his great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy, made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions—it is by grace you have been saved. And God raised us up with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus, in order that in the coming ages he might show the incomparable riches of his grace, expressed in his kindness to us in Christ Jesus. For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— not by works, so that no one can boast. For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.” – Ephesians 2:4-10
Even though this video does not talk about God, I hope you can hear his voice through it inspiring you and reminding you of the person and true purpose that you have been created to be and given to live…it’s not to make money or get rich, it’s to know, believe, and receive your Fathers love, your true identity as a child and heir through our Lord and Savior Christ Jesus, and to reflect his life, love, hope, and presence through out all the earth!
Thanks for reading and being the people that you are in this life…and if your wanting to change and grow like me, always remember that your not alone and that your heavenly Father who loves you will never give up on you and will always be with you..(Philippines 1:6, Hebrews 13:5, Mathew 28:20).
“For we know that in all things God works together for the good of those who love him and have been created for His purposes.” – Romans 8:28
He is with us on the journey…
the journey of not making money or getting rich,
but in that journey of finding Him…
and in the journey of finding him, we also then end up finding our true selves
and in the journey of finding our true selves, we discover what our true purpose and passion is in this life really is…

“Our God is fighting for us always, our God is fighting for us all,
Our God is fighting for us always, our God is fighting for us all,
we are not alone, we are not alone…”
– Elevation Worship
Never will I leave you, never will I forsake you, for I will always be with you, even until the very end of all time
