HI everyone sorry that I have not wrote a blog in a long time. I have been super busy with many things in Ireland and we don’t have the best internet connection. I have been blessed with being chosen to be the leader for my team so I do not have a ton of time to myself and when I do I really try to spend it in prayer and spending quiet time with God. Please know that I think about so many of you and read all of your posts and e-mails to me. I do not always have time to respond because of bad internet quality but please know that I read them and take them all into my heart.
Well we have one more week left in Ireland and let’s just say this past month has truly been like a roller coaster. All of you who are close to me know how I don’t really like roller coasters but I am trying to learn the essence of enjoying the ride and the journey, on roller coasters and most of all in life. Two days ago we got a day off of ministry and got the chance to go hiking up this beautiful mountain. It hit me so hard that we spend so much energy and time trying to get to a destination in life, but so often we don’t stop to enjoy the journey of getting there. I have realized and am learning that it’s actually the journey when going somewhere of great significance that you will remember the most. For me I am learning that the journey itself of how I got somewhere that I so valiantly strived to achieve to get is the part that I will actually remember and cherish the most. I am learning to find and see God in the midst of the journey, through the ups and through the downs, through the beautiful and the through the storms. I am learning that God is always shining and always present, sometimes He just doesn’t look like I want him to or how I thought he would show up. I am learning that His beauty looks differently than what I always would expect or hope for, but yet I am always and truly amazed by it!
I am learning to see God in the midst of hard times and seeing his amazing blessings that come out of it! I truly have come to believe that God is a God who turns weeds into beautiful flowers, storms into rainbows, and a broken life into an amazing story of hope, love, light, and life.
* I pray that whatever you are going through today that you will be encouraged to see God in the midst of your life. Remember that He is always there, shining His light and love through the clouds letting you know that you are not alone and that you will never be alone.
“Through Him (Jesus) all things were made; with out him nothing was made that has been made. In Him was life, and that life was the light of men. The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not understood it.” – John 1:4-5
“When Jesus spoke again to the people, he said, “I am the light of the world, Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the LIGHT OF LIFE.” – John 8:12

God Bless you all and thanks so much for reading and please know that I care for you all and am so thankful for your friendships, support, and love!
As always here is a song that I have been listening to a lot that the Lord has been speaking to me through!
God Bless you all,
Ryan
