Seeing God in the midst of uncertanity - Explore Archived World Race Alumni Blogs

Hi everyone! I just wanted to write quick to post some pictures and let everyone know how I am doing. This first week has been really challenging on many different levels. We have not been doing the ministry that we as a group all thought we would, yet God is working through the midst of change, anxiety, and difficult situations to show us that we are here for a reason. God just might have a much different reason for us being here in Ireland than we thought and He is reminding me that He truly does works through ALL THINGS for the good of those who love him and are called according to His purpose (You). – Romans 8:28

This has been my anchor that I am have been clinging to. Reminding myself and clinging to the belief (even when I don't believe it) that God truly does work through all challenges, all difficulties, all worries, and all problems for my good and for His purpose. Why does he do this, because His love has touched my heart in a life changing way enabling me to love Him. He also does this because He created me for a purpose, just like He created you for a purpose too!

I pray that whatever you are going through right now in your life that you will know that God truly works all things together for your good! You love Him and have been created for His purpose! You could have been created as an animal, but God chose you out of all creation to be His son or His daughter! Know that even through wrecked expectations, hopes failing, and things changing in your life that God can move and does work on your behalf. He fights for you because He loves you and truly makes "All things beautiful in His timing." – Ecclesiastes 3:11

It has been difficult this first week in Ireland, there has been a lot of changes and adversity. But once again, I see God making all things beautiful! He is working amazing within the team that I have been blessed to be on. It has been such a blessing to work with the two other teams that we are staying with and I see God creating an amazing family between our squad.

Thank you so much for your prayers, love, and support! It means so so much to me!

Please pray that God's love will open the hearts of the people we are working with and that God will open my heart to continue to see and sense him in and through all circumstances and situations.

When the storm rages, I will cling to Romans 8:28 and declare it in my life! I see it as an anchor that holds me down to God. Just as a boat puts an anchor down in the midst of a storm. I believe Romans 8:28 is my anchor to keep me firm to my hope and faith in Christ when everything around me is a storm!

"And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him and who have been called according to His purpose." – Romans 8:28

Remember that God works through all things together for you! CLING TO IT, EVEN WHEN YOU DON’T BELIEVE IT AND DECLARE IT IN YOUR LIFE! He can turn a weed into a beautiful flower, a storm into a rainbow, and a difficult situation into an amazing blessing and story!
