There is a quote that the Lord has used to inspire and influence my life so much. It's a quote from a book called, "Wild at Heart" and it says,
"Don't ask yourself what the world needs. Ask yourself what makes you come alive and then go do that. Because what the world needs is people who have come ALIVE." – Howard Thurman
This quote inspires me so much because it makes me ask myself what gets me excited, what gets me truly pumped up, and what makes me alive.
I have struggled wondering if I am meant to go on the World Race and I have wondered if I am going for the wrong reasons. But I believe with all of my heart that God is calling me to go because it is something that makes me come Alive in Him!
I believe the Lord is calling me to go on to become less of me and more of Him. I believe he is calling me to go to transform and grow me from within from the inside out. To transform my identity fully in Him where I know who I am in Him and most of all I know WHO HE IS IN ME!
A professor that I love and look up to so much always tells me that you spell Faith with
R-I-S-K.
So I am choosing and risking to go…why….because I believe God is calling me to go to become fully alive in Him so that I can be a spark to help others become fully ALIVE!
I am risking and choosing to go, to trust and believe that the Lord will do only what HE can do….
