Wow I cannot believe it’s been over a year since I last wrote a blog…I seriously do apologize for that. The last blog I wrote was on September 1st, 2015 so it’s for sure been a while. If any of you follow me on Facebook or my Instagram page then you have seen that I have been very busy being the pastor of an amazing college ministry called Alive! But I’m writing this blog because something special happened about a week ago that I wanted to share. I was on a plane flying back from visiting my girlfriends family in Georgia and God met me in a special way. As he met me I began to have a conversation with him and at the time I wrote it down in my phone just so I could remember it. But after our convo was done, I felt God put it on my heart to start blogging again to share what God has been teaching and doing within my life. If any of you have been following me for a while you know that I write pretty open, raw, and real – so as I start a new blog on a total different and new website, that is going to be the agenda of my writing – to be open, raw, and real about what God is teaching me within my life. My hope and prayer for writing this way is that the truth’s, freedom, breakthrough, and revelation of God’s love that He is showing and teaching me in my own life will transfer to yours inspiring you along the way of being on your own walk and journey with the God!
So with that said, I would like to officially invite anyone reading this to follow and subscribe to my new blog! We just had the website created a couple days ago and it just went live today a couple hours ago. My first blog post (which is the convo that God and I had on the plane) will be posted tomorrow morning – a new blog for a new year! This will be my official my last blog post on this world race blog – one day I hope I can rewrite many of the stories that God has used on this blog and turn it into a book or memoir of some sort. I thank you so much for everyone who have been subscribed to this blog and who has faithfully followed me, prayed for me, wrote to me, and supported me through out the years of my travels and mission work. It is still a dream of mine to one day possible live in Africa and start a non-profit organization to help children! Until then I’m going to stay faithful and thankful for where God has brought me and planted me to be a college pastor with an amazing church working with some amazing students at the University of Illinois!
