Greetings In Christ,
I hope this letter finds you in the joy of the Lord! Despite whatever season of life you and I might presently be in, I am thankful for a God who knows us and is with us in every step we take. So, it brings me much enthusiasm to tell you what God has been doing and where he is leading me to in the coming months. This past spring I graduated from college at LSU and I am very thankful to have received a degree and finish well. However, for the past few years and more intensively the past few months, I have felt something stirring deep in my soul and I realized the Lord was trying to get my attention. On the threshold of moving into the career/adulthood phase of my life I was anxious in starting to pursue my dreams, figure out what I want, and build my new life. But the Lord mercifully showed me my heart and that my true dependency was reliant on what I could achieve and I was more concerned about building my kingdom than His. He then pointed me to a scripture in I Timothy 4:7-10 where Paul talks about training yourself in Godliness, and I knew I needed to let the Lord really reprogram my mind to be kingdom focused in this self-first, instant gratification, sense of entitlement littered America we live in. As a began to pray I sensed the Lord directing me to truly put my selfishness on the altar and go into a new land to learn the true power of trusting in God and serving his kingdom in my life.
After much prayer and consul from friends, disciples, missionaries, and most importantly the Holy Spirit, I will serve as a missionary through an organization, Adventures in Missions, in their World Race program The World Race is an 11-month Christian mission trip to 11 countries around the world. The World Race is community of believers seeking Gods heart to serve and bring him to the nations. On my race our team will partner with churches and ministries around the globe to preach the gospel, plant churches, work in orphanages, minister to those trapped in sex trafficking, and bring the restoration of the Father to the heavy laden. I know God has led me to this place and now I trust him to provide the way to go. My question for you now is if you will consider partnering with me prayerfully and financially to go where God has called. I need $15,500 in order to make this possible, which covers all expenses on the field. There are also a number items as far as travel gear is concerned which cost money. I am asking if you would to contribute to the Gods kingdom by helping send me to go. Donations can be given as a one-time gift or monthly, in the date and amount you are able to give. To give you an idea if 25 people pledged $50 a month for 12 months, I will be totally and fully funded!
Please pray and seek the Lords leading to how or to what capacity you should choose to partner with me in this ministry, because “it is better to obey than to sacrifice” and I want you to honor and obey God first. I am eternally grateful for God giving me this amazing opportunity to serve him, and I am eternally thankful for all prayer, spiritual, and fiscal support you can provide while I am gone!
