Over the past few weeks I have been seeking the Lord and asking him to not only provide for me to reach the next financial deadline, but, encourage me to step out of my comfort zone on fundraising.  Once I started praying that, the Lord started to answer; just not in the way I thought.

It all started when I put my car up for sale a few weeks ago. I'm off doing some errands and someone rear ends me. That's not good I'm trying to sell my car. I take it to a local place to get an estimate and the owner comes out. Conversation about the race comes up and it starts, I asked if they would get behind me on this financially.  He said they will get back to me late next week.  The Lord was then brining opportunities at work about not having conversations about the race come up, but to hand out postcards. All this was putting my job on the line.

I was seating a table and talking about the race came up, they wanted a postcard.  As I hand to them my manager sees it and takes me into the office.  Told me I am not allowed to what I'm doing, I tried explaining it and she didn't want to hear it. Next day I lose my job.  Talk about stepping out of comfort zone that comes with a penalty.  The Lord is Sovereign for he knows what he is doing and he is doing it!

Today as I was journaling, I felt the Lord telling me I should post this one for all to see instead of just me.  Psalm 125 has been speaking to me a lot lately, it says
"Those who trust in the Lord are like Mount Zion, which cannot be moved, but abides forever."  A song from Enter the Worship Circle is called, "Those Who Trust" I encourage you to listen to it. All I can do right now is trust in the Lord that he will do as he says.

I want to encourage that as you reading this that the Lord will stir something up in your heart.  My next financial deadline is this coming weekend.  As of now I am about, $2,000 short. Will you take that step of faith and trust in the Lord and partner with me financially and maybe put your checking account on the line? Amazing things will happen when we trust in the Lord with our whole heart.
