I had a dream last night…I
had this same dream once before at the beginning of my trip. In the
dream I am in a garden searching for Jesus and asking him how he sees
me?
What he revealed to me was
that I am like a Sunflower, that I grew out of the crap (dirt) busted
out of my seed into a small seedling (the walls that I had built up
in my life) and grew upwards…towards the light (the truth!). The
cool thing about a sunflower is that it always faces the sun! It
always looks for the light, it also produces many seeds, and the
seeds are not meant to be held on to, but rather, spread all over for
others to grow! And then Jesus was standing there in my dream looking
at me…right into my eyes, I could see into his eyes, and what I saw
was me. He saw me as Beautiful, and then he ran away from me
playfully, as if he wanted me to chase him, and as I chased him I was
in a huge field of Sunflowers, he was showing me all the seeds that I have
planted around the world and what he has done with them. Once I
finally caught up to him and was standing before Jesus all I could
do was get on my knees before him, and I remember thinking to my self
“You’re Beautiful!….Jesus you’re so Beautiful!” and Then I
began to sing it over and over again to him. When I was before him
nothing else mattered…nothing else was an obstacle. With him there
I felt confident, I felt sure, I felt “Right”

I am thankful that on the
World Race we live in community! That we have to deal with our crap,
that it isn’t always perfect. That we are not always right, we make
mistakes. I am thankful that I have a loving community of people that
call out greatness in me. That each day is another day that I walk
further and further into a deeper relationship with Jesus, and I do
it in Freedom!
Jesus tells me that he is
well pleased with me. He is my encouragement. He is my light in the
darkness. He is Joy in the morning. He is my calm in the storm. He is
my strength in my weakness. He is my love. Jesus you’re Beautiful!
Jesus you are Faithful to me, and you have never left me!
