Merry Christmas From Cambodia!

On this amazing journey God has me going on this year…it has been interesting that every holiday and location match up….
Last month I had an awesome Thanksgiving in Thailand…This month it is Christmas in Cambodia…and my Birthday in Bangkok Airport (December 31st) …then Next month New Years in Nairobi, Kenya!
(my new team “Surge 12:9” in front of our REI Mosquito net christmas tree and REI Tent Rainfly fireplace with paper stockings and paper fire blazing!)
Yes I do miss home and all my friends and family a lot, but honestly there is no where else in the world I would rather be than right here…right now….Because I know God has called me for such a time as this. In a place of abandonment and seeking after him more and more, and to serve his children along side with brothers and sisters around the world. I am so thankful that god has continually opened up doors to be here now. And even when I get homesick and tired of using a squatty potty, eating rice, not showering for 3 or 4 days, sitting in 97 degree heat in a tent fighting mosquitos away singing christmas songs…I still Praise The Lord. Why? Because I know last exactly one year ago I was very unhappy where I was…and I had everything I thought I could ever want…a good paying job…a nice car…a motorcycle…a nice house…nice furniture…a nice big bed…air conditioning…good food…but it all amounted up to nothing in the end. Not that these things are bad or wrong…it’s just that it was all I strived for and I forgot to run after god. Instead I was running for a life of material wealth and not a life rich in blessing from heaven. I love that God loves me so much that he brought me all the way around the world to get me away from that for a while and show me what he really wanted for me. What is it you ask? SIMPLE….Building relationship again…just me and him, and im in love with God more than I have ever been. And the cool part is that each day he shows me a new way to fall in love with him again! He loves me…because he loves me…because he loves me.
I love all of you back home as well. I love hearing the encouragement I get from all of you through comments on my blogs and e-mails. It fills me with great joy to hear from all of you. If you would like to bless me for Christmas you can do 2 things for me 1. I want as many comments as possible from everyone that reads my blog with a word of encouragement, or a bible verse you have for me. 2. you can make a tax Deductible donation to support me financially by clicking on the link that says “support me” on the left of your screen.

I pray that you all have a very Merry Christmas this year and that you and your family are blessed and remember how much Jesus loves you!

God Bless You All
Love
