11 months ago I left America at a nice
and hefty 265 pounds….yeah I was BIG! It’s funny how fast weight
can sneak up on you. I have struggled with my weight ever since I had
cancer a few years ago. And with the increase of stress from my
previous job, living condition, lifestyle, and emotionally eating, my
weight steadily increased more and more. I toped out at 265
pounds…The heaviest I have ever been in my life.
I wasn’t just overweight physically, but also mentally. I was carrying a heavy load or burden from junk from my past…
When I started this trip it was my
prayer and goal to come home a different man than I left. To be
changed from the inside out. I wanted to get healthy, loose weight,
learn to eat right, deal with my personal crap, walk in freedom, and
learn what Christ has to say about who I am.
2
Corinthians 5:17 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ,
he is a new creation;
the old has gone, the new
has come!
I
am a new creation in Christ. I walk in the authority and power of the
word of God! I have FREEDOM! I am blessed to be a blessing. I am
loved. I am Accepted! I have a calling! I am an important part of the
Body of Christ!
God
has answered my prayer to be renewed and changed on this trip. And
the change has come from the inside out. God started a work in me
that I never want to stop.
And
here is the best part….Like I said before, I wanted to be changed
from the inside out….Well I have to share with you a Praise! This
year while on The World Race, I have become the Biggest Loser! I have
lost 65 pounds! I will be coming home a changed man from the inside
out, in heart and in appearance! I now weigh 200 pounds, and feel
like I have lost hundreds more in the freedom alone that I now walk
in!
Before Pictures when I started the race in Sept 2010 at 265 lbs.

And now…AFTER …Recent pictures of me in July 2011 at 200 lbs.

I
am excited to come home and share this changes with all of you.
Encourage others on there journey to do the same. And to stay
accountable and continue on this road to change.
Love
you all
The
new and improved….
Ryan
