A few years ago I was diagnosed with
Terminal Cancer, and told I had 3 months to live, and my Dr. told me
to quit my job and try to live comfortably. Well, God had a different
plan! You see our God is a God of Power, Love, Justice, Mercy, Grace,
Restoration, and Healing! By Jesus stripes we are all healed. During
that time I learned how to “Live everyday like my last”. I made a
“Bucket List”, a list of things I wanted to do before I die,
because I didn’t just want to sit around and wait to die. God has
healed me of my cancer, he has restored relationships in my life, and
he has saved me. He didn’t do all of that just so I can sit back and
wait to die. He did it so I may have life, life more abundantly. I
now choose to live a life that is Uncomfortable and adventurous with
God!
On my journey this year on The World
Race God has been taking me on an adventure with him. It has been a
journey into my relationship with Him, how I view others, how I view
myself, and along the way he shows me his beautiful creation, crazy
sites all over the world, and conquer fears!
In April we were in India and we were
very far away from the Taj Mahal, about 23 hours away. But my team
and I were all determined to see the Taj Mahal before we left India.
So adventure is what we signed up for, so we went for it. Traveling
by car, train, rickshaw, and camel, we made it. Another item to check
off my Bucket List and behold the beauty of the Taj Mahal.
For me every item I check off my
bucket list is a celebration of the faithfulness of God in my life. I
get to achieve another dream because of Christ in me. Because God
loves me, and I get to laugh at the devil, because he is defeated!
Every item I check off on my list is a Victory…Because according to
the devil….I should be dead…..HAHAHAHA! But i’m still alive, and
my God loves me! Praise The Lord!
Live a victorious life! Live each day
like it is your last! Praise God for allthe precious moments in your
life! Praise God when the storms come, because “weeping may tarry
for the night, but JOY comes with the morning”.
I have many more items on my bucket
list, and I am excited to see and do them all with God right by my
side! I pray that you are all blessed, and victorious in your walk
