This is the first of many Blog post to come. Im probably really bad at this but whatevez. πŸ˜‰

I am currently sitting in the kitchen watching two of my lovely housemates cook a yummy dinner of sopapilla and red chili. I really love them. I really love where the Lord has me right now. It’s my sweet spot where I am surrounded by covenant friends. A promise He gave me a year ago that I am getting to see the fruit of now. I live in a treasure chest of little gems that are living, breathing vessels of Christ’s love, grace, forgiveness and beauty! We love each other and have made a commitment to not give up on one another even when we make mistakes or feel unlovable. (and believe me it’s not all sopapillas and cookie cake around here. We definitely are each other’s grace growers)  but it’s mostly love πŸ˜‰ It’s a tad bit bitter sweet because I know this season of living with these amazing people is only a season and one day I’ll have to pack up my bunk and trust the Lord to give me grace as I enter a new chapter. This new chapter that I see in the not so far distance is the World Race. It’s everything I could ever dream of. An 11 month journey into 11 countries where I will get to pour out the Father’s LOVE on his beloved kids. I love it.

I feel prepared. (Wait a second did I just say I feel prepared for an 11 month trip around the world to countries I have never been to and with a group of people I have never met?!)

Okay, I realize how ignorant that sounds and I know there is NO WAY I am prepared for what this next year is to come. But I honestly feel like this past year has been a year of preparation. God knows his daughter and He knew I needed a year of community in Oklahoma to just get a glimpse of his kingdom. Of His love for us. To understand we were not meant to live this life alone. HE Created COMMUNITY. We need each other (fellow believers) to run this race. To encourage and pray for one another.

I am beyond excited to enter in to this next chapter and I want to invite you all to become a part of my community. I will be blogging (hopefully) regularly and I would so love it if you guys would pray for me and my journey to make known the GOOD NEWS of the Father’s DEEP love for ALL of us. πŸ™‚

Lovies, Ryan πŸ™‚
