I think I should have started out with this post but ya know, what can ya do? You guys have to love me anyways. (It’s a rule)
The World Race:
An 11 Month Journey that will lead me to 11 different countries. Where we will spend a month in each country serving, praying, building, teaching and sharing the Father’s heart with communities by partnering with already existing ministries in the area. It’s a chance to further the kingdom of God and speak the GOOD NEWS of Jesus Christ!
My heart:
I believe that I alone will never be able to change a person’s life but it’s Christ who lives in me that has all power and authority to transform and bring to life those who have not yet received or come to know Him. I know that there might be times in life and on this trip where I am merely planting seeds to be plowed by other believers and that is okay. What I am most sure about is that God has put a call on my life to be his vessel of truth and light and to shine everywhere I go for His Kingdom. I believe that He has put the nations on my heart to share the Good News of Jesus Christ. To proclaim that freedom is a truth in Him! I believe that when He was stitching me together in my mother’s womb He put this desire for adventure and love for his children deeply rooted in my soul on purpose. I believe that He has been growing me and raising me up to be bold enough in Him to speak up and proclaim the gospel no matter the cost. In Him I am free of all fear! I trust Him and I trust His calling on my life.
I tried to fight this call and run from it for a long time but this past year God has been gently reminding me what He put as a deep desire in my heart a long time ago. I am a beloved daughter of the King of heaven’s Armies and He has called me to do far greater things than any I could come up with on my own. This is my step of faith.
I trust you Lord for You have chosen me and will not throw me away. I don’t have to be afraid for You are with me and I wont be discouraged, for You are my God. You will strengthen me and help me. You hold me up with you victorious right hand. Isaiah 41:9-10
So there you have it. I am going on an 11 month trip around the world while living out of a backpack and sleeping in all sorts of weird places (so I hear anyways) How fun is this, guys!?
