Knowing that I am passionately pursuing the Lords will for my life:
Priceless.
I cannot describe to use how in love with India I am. Its been a week;
feels like a lifetime already. The people are so beautiful. So Lost.
Beautifully lost. But good news! As long as there is still breath in their
lungs there is hope!! God is good and I cannot even begin to fathom the will He
has. I am pumped that I am finally in
tune with it.
This month we have joined with Sarahs covenant house (SGH) and India Christian
Ministries (ICM). The covenant house is a place that houses 83 beautiful kids
with very special needs. I swallowed back tears the entire visit last night.
They are so perfect in the Lord’s eyes and it breaks my heart that they are
seen as the lowest of the low in the Indian culture. Pray for a revival in the
caste system. With ICM we will find ourselves doing a lot of jobs. From
electrical work to data entry to blowin up villages with the gospel. I. Am. So.
Pumped. Nervous to preach? Yes… but trusting
the spirit to lead. Where can you go wrong with that?
This blog is just a little catch up of where we are at! All is well. Our
host has spoiled us already! please keep team Ripple Effect and Rapha in your
prayers this month as we have joined to dominate India together! There has
already been some spiritual warfare but Satan bring it on– the One who
breathed us into being is on our side!
There has already been some hilarious stories but here are a few…
At the bus stop the other night all us girls hopped on the bus and the boys
were loading our bags… turns out the driver dude takes offffff!!! Phil(bro)
and Daniel (pops) start taking off after and Roberto freaking grabs onto pops
and starts dragging him down the street!! HAHAHAH! It was our first night on
our own and we almost lose two of the most crucial people on our team!
The next one took place this morning. I was sitting here chilling
journaling and KK runs in “OH MY GOSHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!” ummmm you
alright there kk? “I FREAKING JUST GOT CHASED BY MONKEYS!!!!!!!!”
hahah only in India baby.
Last but not least… I have always secretly wondered what it would feel
like to be a celeb. Now I know. Its not every day that you walk or drive down
the street and people stop what they are doing and stare until you are out of
sight. Some snap pictys. Some drop what they are doing and sprint whole
heartedly after us! Oh the joys of having albino skin <3
Prayer requests: against sickness among our team. That we will see the
people of India through the Lords eyes. We will be so in tune with the Spirit
that we will know who to sprint to and who to sprint away from. Our team will
continue to grow deeper.
Love you all.
