My soul finds rest IN God alone; my salvation comes from him. (Ps 62:1)
I just realized that the word “insecure” was maybe meant to be two words instead of one. It is because I can freely walk IN the SECURITY of my Daddy’s love that I have no reason to be insecure. Whether it be in our ministry, my team, others around or in my relationship with God…I am secure because He is my number one. I have easily strayed from that this month but thankfully He has never stopped pursuing and reminding me of my true identity.
So I Declare:
- I am IN the security of Christ, my Daddy.
- I am IN love with Him.
- I am IN his presence—and I don’t want to go anywhere without it.
- I am INundated with His love for me.
- I am IN a trusting relationship with my Beloved.
- I am walking IN the freedom He has given me and I am letting go of all lies that try to tell me otherwise.
- I am walking IN who He has created and called me to be.
- IN boldness I will sing and speak out loud the song of victory.
- I am finding my delight IN you again, Father.
- I walk IN the significance of my worth in you instead of over-analyzing my security and satisfaction and where it comes from.
- I trust IN Him that no matter what results I get to see or not in ministry, that He is doing something bigger. I don't need to see it but simply trust.
- IN steadfastness I persevere toward the goal: to know Him IN all His glory.
I encourage you to do the same. I pray that your security comes from Him first and all other “securities” are just a bonus for our short time on this earth.

This is Abigail. She was a challenge during our sports ministry this month, but God allowed me to see through the angry mask and see the child He really loves. Can you see it in her eyes too?
