Hey everyone I just wanted to let ya’ll know I made it to Seoul around 2:30 this morning. I’m actually ten hours ahead of the central time zone right now. It’s pretty crazy because I saw the sun come up Wednesday at 6AM in Monticello and I’ve yet to see it set. So right now I’m pushing 24 straight hours of daylight. Which is especially weird since we crossed the international date line, so basically I jumped into a new day without the sun ever setting!
The flight from Atlanta was right at 14 hours. I watched 4 movies and still had tons of time to kill. We flew north up over Minnesota into Canada then over Alaska, we crossed the Bering Strait into Russia finally making it to the Korean penisula. Of course as soon as I landed I found a Burger King and had a double whopper with cheeese. It tasted just like the ones I ate on sixth street in Fayetteville, how crazy is that! Hey I love traveling and experiencing new cultures, but I’m all about some good ole American food. Anyway, I’m set to land in Bangkok at 11:45AM central time today.
